I was talking to a man at the gym last winter about the cold I was fighting. He looked me strait in the eye and said I’m 83, I drink green tea twice a day and I haven’t had so much as a cold in seven years. I now drink it at bedtime every night.

  • It was an acquired taste for me at first (former coffee junkie) but now I love my green tea.

I smoked for 20 years, people who quit, kept telling me i had to find something else to do, too replace that bad habit.. so i thought well, if im gonna start trying to get healthy, maybe green tea will work. I researched, every thing about green tea, and everything i found out about it was a plus,as too being a good healthy drink for me. I started drinking it i feel so much better, i came down with a bug one day not feeling very well, so i sipped on hot green tea all day, i was better within 12 hours time. I drink two hot cups at night before i go to sleep it relaxes me.. im addicted. when i smoked i had anxiety at times, now if i feel a little stressed i will drink hot green tea and it will relax me and i will feel calm.. i also have just started white tea too, GreaT Beverage, I believe tea is a natural medicine for our health…

I agree that tea is so helpful for health. I make sure to include green & white tea in my diet every day. It is loaded with antioxidants and helps increase the thermogenesis (fat burning) for my weight management. There is an informative article about how green & white tea is helpful for cancer prevention, general health and weight loss. It is called “Weight Loss, Cancer Protection & Great Health with Green & White Tea”.
