We use peppermint essential oil in our home all the time. The best is we mix a couple drops of pure oil with honey when our kids of an upset stomach and within minutes they are feeling better. We have more info about peppermint essential oil on our blog: http://www.doterrahealth.com/tag/peppermint/

Last summer a wasps nest was behind my wall and the wasps were coming into my kitchen. I didn’t want to use wasps spray and have that insecticide all over my kitchen, then floating around the rest of the house. I put some essential peppermint oil in a spray bottle and became an expert shot at spraying the wasps when they were in mid-flight as well as on the kitchen window. The peppermint instantly slowed them down, and a second spray then killed them. The peppermint oil killed 490 wasps without one sting!

Toss a handful of fresh mint with your leafy salad; lightly chop fresh mint and mix in with your chicken rice pilafs; or use it like the VietNamese, in a mix of fresh herb and leafy lettuce wrap for your grilled meat or seafood, chop or tear for the VNmese chicken-cabbage salad.
