This article makes me sick. Have you ever even heard of Monsanto, and their growth hormones they put in the cows???

Human beings should not drink milk from a cow. It’s that simple. So many illnesses and afflictions in children (and adults for that matter) could be cured if they would just cut out milk and milk products. There are tons of doctors, organizations, websites, etc…that will tell you the same thing, so you can do your own research. Almond milk, rice milk, and calcium fortified OJ, are delicious alternatives to cow’s milk. Once you try them…you’ll never go back!

Learn more about the dangers of disgusting Cow’s milk here:

Laura, I agree with you. I don’t understand how a site that is called “alternative health” can say that milk is healthy. All naturopaths and homeopaths (kings of alternative medicine) agree in milk is unhealthy. You have disapointed me very much with this article.

Please, next time make a better research.

My recommended link, moreover the Mercola site that is the BEST side in alternative medicine (you can learn a lot from him), is:

http://www.veganimal.info/rubrique.php3?id_rubrique=36 (sorry, in french, but some articles are also in english)

Milk is responsible of breast cancer in women, osteoporose, and the ranny nose in enfants, all kind of allergies and asthma, and a lot and a lot of our current days diseases.

And calcium, you can find it in a lot of other products: green leaves, seeds, soy milk, fish, etc.

  • NaturalCuresforWarts

Oh my gosh. I am sitting here thinking the same thing. I mean, think about how many people are allergic to milk. It’s getting pathetic.

And I’m a Mercola fan as well!

    Hope

ummm excuse me but ever since I was a young child I have been drinking milk pretty much straight from the cow and there is NOTHING wrong with me. My grand parents did the same thing and most of them have lived well into their 90’s. You do realize that if it weren’t for the milk that our ancestors drank and the cows that they ate, we would not be here today. It is just the weak city dwellers who catch these diseases because they were not brought up in the hard working conditions that my family came from. Then, they turn around and blame it on the poor cows. All I have to say is CONSPIRACY!!!! So you guys, how much did the soy companies pay you to bash this article????

  • Jane

The ignorance in the comments amaze me. For one, if you’re so worried about what are used on the cows, go organics. You look hard enough, you can blame anything for everything. Follow that up by a look at our evolution. Thousands of years ago it’s true our bodies couldn’t handle milk. For reasons yet known, it adapted. That actually made a big difference in the evolution of society and us as human beings. Do research, look up real facts. Stop going by what the media incorrectly tells you.

Oh and there is the added fact that most people get their calcium from dairy products, especially milk (though mainly younger children who need it). Without calcium your body can’t function. That simple.

I felt sad at the milk bashing comments, like the article first of all is called the amazing benefits of milk, if you hate milk so much then what are doing here? haha as long as your not lactose intolerant I think milk is super, protien, fat, carbs, potassium, calcium, b vitamins, and stuff, plus it tastes way better than milk alternatives. There are alot of ‘primative’ cultures still around today who primarily LIVE off of milk, tell them it’s not good!!

  • Michaelanne

Steph, good point….Yeah – why ARE you here if milk disgusts you?? LOL! Yes…some people who think they “know it all” are sometimes wrong and want to force others into their way of thinking/believing. Remember that. When I first read an artical on that Monsanto report, it did freak me out a little, but I didn’t let it scare me. We are not getting cancer and disease from MILK for Pete’s sake. I’m drinking it more than ever these days – every day and my nails are stronger and I just feel good. I am going to keep drinking milk!

  • carrie

im going to have me a glass of milk RIGHT now .

    :)

  • kryst

    haha funny funny,
you know i heard that milk turns into a solid right after it hits your stomach.. maybe it’s the sudden change in consistancy that upsets tummies. idk if its entirely true i only heard it.
but i love milk. and i’m giving a persuasive speech on all the benefits. : ) yay!

    • Shady

I’m doing a persuasive speech on the benefits too! Go us!

  • Taai

Just drink it, im a guy and i like it with a chocalate cake, apple pie, cheesecake with strawberries, oatmeal cookies, chocalate cookies the list goes on. im pretty sure every female or male going to feed there newborn milk wether its breast or store. milk is also good for reproduction excuse my mind but its truth.if u dont like drinking milk dont drink it i know some people stomach can take it.

  • Jesse

Milk is fantastic. Since I started drinking milk again recently, I’ve been feeling great, better than I have been in a long time, mentally and physically. It gave me a stomach ache at first but my body got better at processing it I guess.

  • sonny
