Our mission: to help you find your own personal Feel Great Weight. What do we mean by that? It’s not what you weighed when you fit into those ridiculously tiny jeans you wore in high school. Rather, it’s that happy, healthy, sane number you can actually maintain. Sure, it’ll take some work to get there, but the work is doable—and even fun—thanks to the insider info and support from the dream team of experts who put our plan together. They’ll guide you from every angle: what to eat, how to work out more efficiently, even how to dress for your changing body. What’s more, for the rest of the year, the dream team will offer new tips and encouragement each month as you follow the plan in Health magazine and on Health.com. Plus, you’ll see the transformations of three lucky readers who’ve signed up to follow the plan and finally get the bodies they want). Isn’t it time you said yes to feeling great? OK, then, let’s go!

Thanks I’m exited to start this program.
All this info is great, especially for everyone on a dayshift schedule, but is there any great tricks for those of us who work 7p-7a and sleep during the day and whose dinner time is 2400,0100 in the morning? It’s very hard to maintain any kind of schedule or routine, I would really appreciate any advice anyone has to help me with this. Thank you for your time and advice, Ingga…

This comment is for Fran.
You should try Jazzercise. It’s great b/c you do the routines w/ a large group, but at your own speed/ ability. Lots of strength training, etc. which is good if you have a foot injury b/c you can work out other areas of your body.
There are people of all age ranges and you don’t have to be coordinated to participate.
Give it a try. Hope you like it!
How can you find out what your feel great weight is? I must have missed that month.
Help
Thanks
Longing 4 the start!
I’m 63 and obese. I try to exercise but I just think I am a compulsive eater. I just can’t get over the hump to actually start a diet.
I’m a compulsive eater too, Bevamae. I can fill up on small portions, but I’m terrible when it comes to people offering me more food or the plate is packed full of goodies. I’ll eat the whole thing even if I can fill up on 1/4 of the food! I’ve told my family to not offer me more than I take, but since they’re complusive eaters just like me it’s hard for them to understand that I actually JUST want to eat half the food they give me.
Bevamae, start by writing down everything you eat and drink. You will probably be shocked by the total calorie count of what you eat. My daughter, who has lost 120 pounds and gone from a size 24 to an 8, uses http://www.calorie-count.com. Exercise is a big part of her life now, too. Get out there and walk. GET STARTED TODAY.
I am 57 and have lived with chronic back pain for over 37 years. I had two back surgeries and was told to stay at my surgical weight which I managed to do until last summer when I gained 35 lbs. eating junk.
Now I need to stop procrastinating and take the weight off and start exercising again. Just ran across this site today and hope it will prove helpful.
