“Our Run Like a Girl group formed after the death of Carlos Serrano, a local triathlete, in a cycling accident this past summer,” says Marisa Lusk, 30, of Scottsboro, Alabama.
“It began as a way for us—his wife and friends—to cope, and we never stopped. We now have more than 60 members, and his memory inspires each of us.”
