I'm a guy in my mid-20s and I have a gorgeous 40-something-year-old female boss. I run the I.T department which is one of a couple of departments that she manages. We work very closely due to me translating our tech/data needs to her in order to budget and plan projects.

She dresses to impress -- and sometimes the skirt is totally form fitting and the blouse is significantly low cut -- but she's a great manager, nice personality, and her bosses are the vice presidents and CEO -- that rarely see her daily... No one really complains.

I find it to be like flexing a muscle when interacting with her. The muscle being the act of not losing focus or letting my eyes drift the length of her body...to keep completely professional despite unprofessional thoughts racing through my mind...

My past bosses were all male...and talking to them was never like patting my head and rubbing my stomach at the same time like it is with my current female boss.

I have female boss (I am male) and she loves to make my life miserable. She has even said, several times, with a little laugh, "I think you just can't handle having a female as your boss....is this something we need to talk to HR about?" Total "B." We are the same age (31), which makes it even worse. She treats me like a rookie straight out of college. But she loves to yell at me and then laugh and tell jokes with my colleagues so that they think she is cool and I am an idiot.

I agree with this article 100% my former boss was a female, and her presence just made my work environment extremely stressful. She would find the most miniscule reasons to yell at me. I dreaded the thought of going in to work when she was there, and in fact she was the sole reason I quit.

I agree with that female bosses are more demanding they hold more grudges and if you "cross" them they will do everything they can to make your work environment counterproductive and difficult. I have two female bosses that just stressed me out. I think male bosses are more even keeled
