Our expert says: Choose set days on which you’ll grocery shop and exercise, and do your best to stick to that plan. “Your mind-set needs to be, ‘Maintaining my weight loss is so important that I’m not going to let anything else get in my way,’” Judith S. Beck, PhD, says. Also, ask a friend to regularly encourage you to make this “you time” a priority. Make a pact with her that if she sees you slacking, she has permission to call you on it.
