Tiffany Blog Week 14: The Worth of a Picture

Monday: Today I was busy around the house, working on retouching and cleaning, and got caught up in all of that and didn’t work out.

Tuesday:
This morning I didn’t meet with Rich because I was not feeling well. (I had a stomach ache.) I felt better as the day went on and managed to get to the gym to at least do my cardio.

Wednesday: I went to the gym after work instead of in the morning because I felt pretty tired after not feeling well yesterday and then working out at night. I had a bit more time, so I ran and then did sit-ups. At this point I feel like I need to add extra stuff when I can.

Thursday: I met with Rich this morning and he added a few extra pounds to the weights; we did sets of 10. I pulled something in my leg, which ended up affecting the rest of the workout that he had planned, but we managed to do other things. He stretched me at the end of the workout, which was really nice. I treated myself later that day to a manicure and pedicure (also because I am being photographed for our monthly Health Magazine shoot tomorrow).

Friday: This morning I didn’t work out because I had a lot of things on my agenda—and, to be honest, I didn’t want to carry my gym bag with me. I showed up at the photo shoot and proceeded to try on a million different outfits, got my hair and makeup done, and stood in front of the camera for a change. It was a bit nerve racking. In the end I felt super insecure about my progress, which is a bummer. It’s like trying on clothes in a dressing room that has the 360 mirror: It’s never a great experience but it does make you more aware of your body. I have realized that I am not doing everything that I can in the way of food that I should. I am going to reevaluate!

Saturday: I had an appointment with Rich this morning at 8 a.m. and showed up at the gym to find out he was really sick. Poor thing! I of course got my hour of cardio in. I felt great and still had the whole day ahead of me. I did a bit of shopping and tried to buy things that will look good as I continue to lose weight. I bought the dress that I was photographed in for the shoot, especially after hearing all the great compliments.

Sunday: We had a softball game this morning, so I rode my bike to the park and then jogged for ½ an hour to warm up. We almost won, 20 to 25. It was a lot of fun. I also decided not to have a game beer at The Turkey’s Nest, but opted for water instead. I’m trying!
