Polish preserver
Rub nails with white vinegar before applying polish. Vinegar takes moisture out of the nail, which helps polish adhere, says Robert Cleary, director of product development and operations at the Dashing Diva nail salon in New York City.

    Taking moisture out of the nail is not healthy for the nail. This is why the good polishes and salons use hydrating nail products. It is safer and smarter to use a long-lasting top coat such as “Out The Door”.
