Vinegar is great for cleaning lots of things but be sure that your not removing any coatings from the glass that are there to deflect UV rays. I recently bought new windows for my home and was warned not use ammonia or vinegar or I would be removing the energy efficient properties of the the glass. Soap and water may work just as well.
