1. Candy bar: Hershey’s Reese’s Peanut Butter 100 Calorie Wafer Bars. It’s 3 p.m., and your energy level and enthusiasm have taken a nosedive. You’re craving something chocolatey and yummy but don’t want to wreck your diet. This snack to the rescue: It nails the flavor of Reese’s Cups, but it’s not a diet-wrecker. Judge Keegan Gerhard loves the individual packages and great crunch. ($2.99)
2. Frozen Yogurt: Häagen-Dazs, Vanilla Honey & Granola Frozen Yogurt. Finally, a fro-yo that tastes decadent. The chunks of granola and swirls of sweet honey in this rich-tasting treat make it crave-worthy. And the best part? A half-cup serving has just 200 calories and 4 grams of fat. Plus, you’ll also feel great knowing that you’re getting 15 percent of your daily calcium requirement, coupled with good bacteria, in each creamy bite. ($4.19)
3. Cookie: Dancing Deer Baking Co. Triple Chocolate Shortbread Cookies. These are the most chocolaty cookies we’ve ever tasted. First you get a bite of the crunchy chocolate shortbread, then the chocolate chips melt on your tongue. We can’t believe that a treat this good is only 130 calories—for two cookies! The best part is that the cookie duo is packaged in mini cellophane packs, so you’re not tempted to eat a third (or fourth!) cookie. ($3.99)

I’m very disappointed. I do not see the “health” in these choices. I want to know the nutritional value of these items that will add to my health, besides tasting yummy or being “only” so many calories. “Only so many useless calories” are still just that.
I hope your “healthy recipes” do better.
Breyers Double Churned Creamy Chocolate has only 100 calories per 1/2 cup serving. I measured out 1/2 a cup to see how much it was. Then, I moved it from the measuring cup to my cone, and it was too much! Had I filled it straight from the carton, I wouldn’t have even used 1/2 cup. It made me feel good about having a delicious ice cream cone for under 150 calories!! There’s also only 3.5g fat.
200 calories for a half cup is healthy? Get another job.
I agree with you J brown, there is nothing ONLY in 200 calories to say nothing of how are these items healthy?
I think you folks missed the point. These are the healthiest choices if you must buy convenience foods (some people have very busy lives and find it difficult to prepare healthy meals all the time) and if you must have a dessert. I don’t believe they are being ‘recommended’ for a healthy lifestyle.
