I couldn’t agree more with your rating of the SportsArt Fitness E825 elliptical. I tried some of the other high dollar units and I could not believe how much nicer the SportsArt unit was. And, the adjustable stride length is really a cool feature. It’s definitely the best elliptical trainer I have ever tried.

I saw the home gym in a store and salesman told me to buy it now because he heard the company will not be making anymore weight equipment.

Horizon & AFG from what I have been told are the same company. How does the AFG gym get rated but it’s equivalent Horizon not get rated? Also I have a Bodyguard treadmill that costs just a little less than that of the Horizon and the Horizon doesn’t even come close to my Bodyguard. I would say a lot more research might need to be done!!

I seriously recommend a real bicycle. In nice weather you can get fresh air, meet people and run errands. Late at night or in bad weather, you can put the bike into a set of Kreitler rollers and pop in one of the many training videos for racers. It teaches one usable skills like balance, as well. The $3700 for the best elliptical can buy a perfectly-fit CUSTOM American-made bike that will provide a lifetime of use.
