Race Time: Run Your First or Fastest 5k or 10k
There’s no better motivation to start running—or stick with it—than signing up for a race. We asked Girls Gotta Move Coach Jenny Hadfield to design 5K and 10k training program to help new runners fly through their first race and another for more-experienced pavement-pounders to run their fastest race ever. So pick a race and start training!

When I clicked on the link for a 5K training program I received an error page same for 10K. How can I get to the training program?
Thanks.

It still has an error May 31 2008
Both should work now. Sorry for the error.
How do you change the Marathon program to work for a 1/2 marathon?
Thanks1
In one of the recent issues of Health there were some cool links for running posted in the Girls Gotta Run page. Unfortunately, I have misplaced this issue and I would really like the link that was a map where you could click on the streets and it would calculate your mileage. You could use it for biking, running and walking it appeared. Can you please repost this link for me and others who may have not seen it or misplaced the issue as well.
Thanks!!
I can’t open up the page for the 5K training program, its says that there is an error
Lynnea,
The site you are thinking of may be mapmyrun.com it is great for finding routes wherever you are and calculating the mileage. Hope that is what you are looking for!
