Susan’s Blog Week 3: Focusing on Happiness

The theme for this week is being happy about the good things and staying focused on the long term goal. My major challenge for this past week: No scale movement at last week’s weigh-in! I worked out like crazy, ate all the right things, and of course when I went to weigh in was at the exact same weight as the week before. The good news is my body fat percentage decreased by 3 percent and my blood pressure was awesome when I had my physical. So through it all, it is working and I just have to stick to it. (More good news: I lost 2 lbs when I weighed in today.)

This was a major challenge week since I had two dinners out and a wedding to attend. I made pretty good choices but had to leave the wedding when they put out the fresh baked cookies and the candy bar with all of my favorites. A girl can only be soooooo good!

My joints are aching a bit since last week, so I am going to focus on less joint pounding in my workouts this week. Maybe 35 pounds from now, I can get back to them.

Well, back to the grind. Gotta get up at 6:00 to get my workout in for tomorrow. Will keep you posted!

Feel Great Weight stats:
Original weight: 256
Current weight: 251
Weight loss this week: 2 lbs
Total weight loss: 5 lbs
