Look up some quad stretches (the muscles on the top of your thighs are quadricepts; if they feel tight and painful, the stretching will definitely help). :) I personally do not recommend stretching before-hand because your muscles are &quot;cold&quot; and you could easily tear them... even tiny tears cause major pain. Stretch after you&#039;re done walking or otherwise working out - it helps a lot. 

Some distance runners also recommend an &quot;ice bath&quot; after a long workout... fill a tub part-way with cold water. Add ice till the water is high enough that you can sit in and it will cover your legs but not higher. Sit in it for a little bit. This helps keep the muscles recover faster. I haven&#039;t done this, but I&#039;ve read it in lots of places.</description>

		<description>I walk 12-15 miles per day. I feel great, but It makes me go to the bathroom a lot... 5-6 times per day. It is a very pwerful and noisy experience now. I was wondering if anyone knew what I could do to slow down my bowel movements. I eat a balanced diet now, lean meat, fruit, veggies, high fiber cereals etc...and plent of skim milk, yogurt and water.</description>

I started that way because I cannot stand the cold
when summer came I started walking outside and have now built up to 3 miles--I take different routes cause I get bored and I take my ipod w/oxygen exercise music it is great has a nice fast pace.</description>
