Amy is definitely wrong! My husband went to a TakeCare Clinic at Walgreensbecause he wasn’t feeling well, and instead of asking why he was there, they just stuck him with a Flu Shot. Turns out he had pneumonia!!! We are outraged! Not only do we not believe in getting flu shots, you’re most definitely not supposed to be administered one if you’re not feeling well. Anyway, to make a long story short, in my conversations with the Walgreens Take Care Clinic after the fact, the Nurse Practioner DID confirm that some flu shots do have mercury and some flu shots don’t. Flu shots are a major money maker for pharmaceutical companies, and it’s all a big scam. Trying to pinpoint which strains of flu will be active is like trying to win the lottery. Flu shots are not only hooey, they are dangerous!

No I didn’t pursue being compensated. It’s been 2 weeks since my flu shot and thus 2 weeks since I’ve been diagnosed with Bells Palsy and not much as changed in the paralysis on the left side of my face.

Bells Palsy is not painful but very frustrating. The body is beautifully and wonderfully made.

What is VAERS?

my boyfriend took the flu shot. like a day later i got sick and he did too . it was worse for me i had fever and everything. i believe that since the flu shot is the flu bacteria we probably got sick because of it. he wasnt as bad as me thought. what you guys thing have that happen to you guys?

So in your opinion is this H1N1 vaccine dangerous? I have heard so many conflicting stories. Now they are trying to force me to get vaccinated at my college because I’m a nursing student…can they do this? Do I not have the right to refuse being vaccinated even though I am a part of the medical community? I want to know what my rights are. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

In 1979 I had my spleen removed and have been considered High Risk and immunocompromised since. I am currently, an active 41 year old woman who exercises and do take care of myself. Physically and medically. Now, after all these years of getting the flu shot, 2 days after receiving the seasonal flu shot, I had an allergic reaction to the shot and have been diagnosed with Bells Palsy. Now… I am on the waiting list for the H1N1 Vaccine and am seriously reconsidering getting the shot.

What are your thoughts (medical and general public).

There is not only 49.6% Mercury, Squalene, which depending on the manafacturer it is a oil based adjuvant ( additive) that can be debilitating. All laboratory Rats that was injected with Squalene (oil) adjuvants developed a disease that left them crippled, dragging their paralyzed hindquarters across their cages. Is that what you want going in your body to fight a flu? you could live with no side effects to these ingredients but we deserve the right to know what the hell they are putting in these shots. I myself am a mom of 2, we will be using hand sanitizer washing hand cough in your elbow remedies. We will not be getting the flu shot this year 2009. everytime we have we have gotten sick. YOU do the math?

Wrong, there is still mercury in US vaccines. I asked our local pharmacist and he said that you can request Hg free but you need a reason (e.g. pregnant). It is 100% about profits. The Hg enable multi-dose vials to be sold as opposed to Hg free single dose.
