I belly dance and practice yoga for fitness. During college I rarely have time to go to a gym but as a former high school athlete and someone concerned about my health, I scheduled a belly dancing class and a yoga class at my college's rec center. I lost 15 lbs that year and felt great! 2 1 hour workouts a week and cutting down on the fast food and I droped from 150 lbs to 135. I felt silly and shy at first but after I let go of my inhibitions and had fun I realized that belly dancing is a great way to be both fit and sensual. I would definitely recommend this dance form for women(and men) who want to work on their self esteem and their fitness level!
